The objective of this study was to analyse how macromolecular structure of polylactides influences their properties and degradation rate. To achieve this, novel 2- and 4-armed PDLLA and PLLA (noted as 2b and 4b) were synthesized by ring-opening method. 1,4-butanediol and pentaerythritol were used as initiators and stannous octoate was used as catalyst. The obtained polymers were investigated in terms of molecular weight by size exclusion chromatography, thermal properties by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry, and hydrophilicity by the contact angle measurements. The in vitro degradation test was carried out in PBS solution at 37 °C by means of the mass loss, water uptake, molecular weight and thermal properties changes. The branched polylactides including 2bPDLLA, 4bPDLLA, 2bPLLA and 4bPLLA were successfully synthesized and the average molecular weights were around 40-45 kDa. The numbers of arms in each polymer just slightly influenced the thermal properties and the contact angle. The crystallinity of 4bPLLA was 23 %, whereas for 2bPLLA it was 41 %. The degradation rates of both 2b and 4bPLLA were similar and the degradation process was similar only during first 7 weeks. After this period, the degradation rate of 4bPDLLA increased. Consequently, thermal properties and degradation profiles of the branched polymers would depend on plural factors, such as chain length and crystallinity in branched structure. 相似文献

Hydroxyapatite (HA) hybridized poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-co-acrylic acid (PNIPAM-co-AAc) hydrogel on thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) were successfully prepared via photocatalytic polymerization technique. Low temperature plasma processing of HMDSZ and O2 plasma were deposition on substrate. The HA/hydrogel were stabilized by HA of which the wettability was modified by calcium nitrate and ammonium phosphate dibasic. The HA gradually increases with the increase of time cycles. The deposition of organic silicone group by the HMDSZ on the TPU substrate is hydrophobic surface. When deposition of O2, the water contact angles (WCA) was changed to <10° and surface hydrophilicity. The materials were characterized by OM, SEM, FT-IR, XPS and XRD. The results showed that the NIPAM: AAc (1:1 mol) polymers possess macropores ranging from 2 to 20 μm, and their large numbers of carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups result in a favorable adsorption capacity for HA. Swelling studies indicated that NIPAM: AAc (1:1 mol) was 446 ± 0.3%. This work provided a promising alternative method for the fabrication of polymer materials with tunable and interconnected pores structures for the HA. 相似文献

A group of 37 patients--20 (54%) men and 17 (46%) women--aged 2-65, mean 31.6 years, was treated between 1978 and 1995 for different kinds of primary mediastinal germ cell tumours. In 14 (37.8%) of them a mature solid teratoma was diagnosed, in 13 (35.1%)--dermoid cyst, in 5 (13.5%)--malignant teratoma, in 1 (2.7%)--immature teratoma, in 4 (10.8%)--seminoma. Mediastinal tumour was removed completely in 30 (81.1%) patients, partially in 7 (18.9%). Out of 37 patients, 3 (8.1%) died during postoperative time. Out of 26 patients discharged after surgical removal of mature teratomas, all are alive and have been followed-up for 10 years (17 patients) or 5 years (6 patients). Out of 8 discharged after surgical removal of malignant neoplasm, 3 are alive and all of them had primary mediastinal seminoma. One of them has survived 17 years after complete resection, and two patients--7.5 years and 2 years after partial resection and radiotherapy. Improvements in the quality and yield of semiconductor devices will rely on characterization methods that are informative, nondestructive, convenient, easy to use, and inexpensive. Ideally, one would like to perform the characterization procedure at room temperature on entire wafers, possibly even before the structure is removed from the growth chamber. Because of their simplicity and proven ability, the contactless electro-modulation methods of photoreflectance and contactless electroreflectance are ideally suited for this purpose. Finite rotations in continuum mechanics are described by means of either a proper orthogonal tensor or finite rotation vectors. Some algebraic relations concerning the finite rotations are reviewed. Formulae expressing them in terms of displacements are given. Along each of the curvilinear coordinate lines the finite rotations are shown to satisfy some systems of the linear first-order differential equations. Each system of the equations is presented in four different but equivalent forms associated with an intermediate stretched basis or with an intermediate rotated basis. Integrability conditions of the system of equations provide various alternative forms of compatibility conditions in continuum mechanics. The displacement field is expressed through the stretch and rotation fields in the form of three successive line integrals. The formula describes the displacements to within a constant finite translation and a constant finite rotation. The procedure proposed here generalizes the formula derived by Cesàro (1906) within the classical linear theory of elasticity. 相似文献

A smooth object depicted in a monochrome image will often exhibit brightness variation, or shading. A problem much studied in computer vision has been that of how object shape may be recovered from image shading. When the imaging conditions are such that an overhead point-source illuminates a smooth Lambertian surface, the problem may be formulated as that of finding a solution to an eikonal equation. This article will focus on the existence and uniqueness of such solutions, reporting recent results obtained. With regard to existence, shading patterns are exhibited for which there is no corresponding object shape. Specifically, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented for a circularly symmetric eikonal equation to admit exclusively unbounded solutions; additionally, a sufficient condition is given for an eikonal equation to have no solution whatsoever. In connection with uniqueness, we consider eikonal equations, defined over a disc, such that the Euclidean norm of the gradient of any solution is circularly symmetric, vanishes exactly at the disc center, and diverges to infinity as the circumference of the disc is approached. Contrary to earlier influential work, a class of such eikonal equations is shown to possess simultaneously circularly symmetric and noncircularly symmetric bounded smooth solutions. 相似文献

A method for the simultaneous determination of calorific value Qr, ash yieldAr and total water content Wrt of soft brown coals is described. The method involves instrumental analysis of brown coal samples using neutron thermalization and gamma back-scattering techniques. Over 80 coal samples (1.1 kg) were analysed, having Qrvalues up to 15.5 MJ kg?1,Ar ranging from 3.6 to 76.1 wt% and Wrt ranging from 11.4 to 61.7 wt%. Soft liner materials in oral cavity environments are easily colonized both by fungi and dental plaque. These factors are the cause of mucosal infections. The microorganism that most frequently colonizes soft liner materials is Candida albicans. Colonization occurs on the surface of materials and within materials. A solution to this problem might involve modification of soft liner materials with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). In this article, we present results showing the antifungal efficacy of silicone soft lining materials modified with AgNPs. The modification process was conducted by dissolving both material components (base and catalyst) in a colloidal solution of AgNPs and evaporating the solvent. Composites with various AgNP concentrations (10, 20, 40, 80, 120 and 200 ppm) were examined. The in vitro antifungal efficacy (AFE) of composite samples was 16.3% to 52.5%. 相似文献
